In this project I gradually updated a small page with only a few TYPO3 pages from TYPO3 version 7.6 to TYPO3 version 11.5.x.
This environment had 7 local extensions, one of which was Gridelements. Since Grid Elements is only supported up to TYPO3 10, this extension has been replaced by Container and Container Elements.
The template was adapted to the TYPO3 11 version without any changes. The template is integrated via TypoScript and Fluid Styled Content and is not encapsulated in a TYPO3 extension, but is stored below the fileadmin folder and configured by several StaticTS files.
On this website, mask is used for page templates and content elements. In addition, there is a self-made extension to display an image gallery.
All mask templates were adjusted, as well as the self-made extension to TYPO3 11. This adjustment was also made for other extensions that come from the TYPO3 Extension Repository (TER) and are no longer being developed.
All necessary TypoScript changes have also been made.
